Noindex problem
During the development I used the Noindex option in WordPress.
After life, I changed the Noindex option in WordPress so that Google could do a index.
Now the website still can be indexed completely. Google says 2 pages are index, 14 pages aren’t. Ik checked RankMath. But can’t find anything wrong.Website: https://oefentherapiewinschoten.nl/

Hi Sakib,
What tool did you use?
Can I add a image?
Hi Sakib,
It is a bit confusing, there is an old website with almost the same name.
On the long term, it has to go.
But now, it’s still there.
Name old site: oefentherapie-winschoten.nl
This website shows up all the time butBut the new website (https://oefentherapiewinschoten.nl/) isn’t showing up in Google and Bing.
And Google is still showing that there are 14 pages no-index.Hello,
You may use imgbb to share screenshots with us.
The search results I’ve shared above, is for the current website not for the old one. Even though I can see the old website URLs are still being shown on SERPs.
This is beacuse, the site is still crawlable and indexable to Google and this is why they are not removed from SERPs yet. Here you can check: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=sY-zulyfg7idZDLkbOQTgA
You’ll need to set them to
noindexentirely to remove from SERPs.However, can you please share a few of those 14 URLs with us here that are not being indexed on SERPs? So that we can investigate the issue further for you.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hi Sakib,
Despite the good number in WordPress, I can’t find the website in Google or Bing.
I only find the old website, which isn’t belongs to my client.
What is going wrong? And still 10 pages not indexed.
Hello,
Please click the error “Excluded by noindex tag” in the screenshot so you can view the affected URLs and share it here so we can check as well.
About the old website, you can use the page removal tool in your Google Search Console account

Thank you.
Hello,
if you see the last crawl date, you will notice that it is not recent:
That means, Google does not see yet that the page is no longer marked as
noindex. Once they recrawl, the pages withoutnoindexwill be removed from the excluded list. With that said, the homepage is indexed even if GSC shows that it is excluded which means that it is just a matter of time before the GSC status updates:
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.
Hi,
Despite the fact that there are two websites (old and new) with almost the same name, how can I get better results for the new (latest) website.
I have heard that de oldest website will stay for some months.
Unfortunately the oldest website is there for many years and has better search results.
How can we get the newest website higher in the search ranks.Thanks.
Gerard DrentHello,
You can start by improving your website’s on-page SEO with the help of our plugin. You may refer to these guides:

Also, please note that ranking on Google depends on so much more than just your on-page optimization. You could have the perfect article and still struggle to break the top 10 in SERPs. Here are some of the factors Google considers when ranking you:
