Hi, I am trying to fix the problem on Google Search Console about my website MOVED TO SENSITIVE DATA SECTION
I have already loaded the sitemaps correctly but it doesn’t work correctly. It’s about the no index for the listings pages and I don’t understand why it happens.
I have tried to fix through Google but it seems there is a β€˜no index’ for all the listing pages.
I have already contacted the Author Template and they suggested me to contact you.
Can you please check and fix the problem?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Having your robots.txt not writable should be an issue for you, unless you want to modify it. A lot of security plugins change the file to not writable to avoid potential malware affecting your site.

About the sitemaps you have in the Search Console, you should have only the sitemap_index.xml file, Google only needs that file, it will access the rest using it.

Rank Math has an option (enabled by default) to set as no-index categories (and tags) without posts on them. Do you have posts assigned to those listings? If not, you could try to assign one and see if the issue is solved.

Rank Math does it to avoid having thin content on Google, since it is bad for your SEO. Once you add some content to the listing, it is automatically set as index.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

Your sitemap and robots.txt seem to be perfectly fine. I have checked a number of listings and they appear to be set to index.

I however noted an issue with one URL, if you head to yoursitemap_index.xml > /listing-sitemap.xmlyou will a URL like this /negozi/%listingLocation%/%listingCat%/ which seems to lead to 404. Please check and let us know.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi Alberto,
yes my security plugin made robots.txt and htaccess files not writable.
Is it a problem for the RankMath working correctly?

I have deleted the other sitemaps, thank you for your suggestions.

The map about the listings is there (arrow on the screenshot). I have 44 shops/listings on my website.

Regarding the RankMath settings, I have checked each single listing and they have ‘index’ settings. https://ibb.co/hynkt3L

I have tried to fix the general settings but they look ok from my side.

Is there something you can do from your side to check what it is wrong please?

    Thank you for your support.
I have checked the RankMath plugin but I have not understood what I need to edit to fix the problem.

I can confirm that the url /negozi/%listingLocation%/%listingCat%/ is the URL structure of all the listing pages and I can see it here https://ibb.co/Bn4JVr0 but I cannot see the error on the same page.
If you already checked it leads to 404, it could be the reason of the Noindex results for the listing pages.

I have seen the 404 errors from your plugin
    https://ibb.co/1TDrXCV
    https://ibb.co/hsZPNhv
I have added an arrow to each listing page that should be ok but it goes to 404.
Also at the end of listing pages and also other pages URL appear /undefined.
    What ‘/undefined’ means?

To be honest, I have used your plugin on other website and everything is ok.
I don’t understand if these errors come from the complexity of the website structure or they come from an error on RankMath Settings.

Are you please able to help me to fix the problem?

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow up.

It seems your variables %listingLocation% and %listingCat% are not getting the actual values of the URL. You can get in touch with the listing plugin support to help you with this.

These undefined errors suggest that there are some resources that you are linking to on the page such as images that are not available on the server anymore and the page is unable to identify & load them too.

Please take at this guide for some more info on how to fix 404 errors: https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-404-errors/

Let me know if you have additional questions. Thank you.
