Noindex Issue

    Hello there!

    The meta tag of product pages as well as the homepage keeps changing to noindex, follow. I don’t know why. No matter how many times I reset the meta tag to (index, follow), it keeps changing to noindex.

    I also notice that when I implement 301 redirects, the old destination URL gets noindex meta tag, is it a default thing by Rank Math?

    Note: it’s a WooCommerce website.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    If they are always getting set to noindex, please make sure that the Search engine visibility option is unchecked in WordPress. For that, navigate to the left side of the WP admin dashboard > Settings > Reading.

    About the redirects, the robots meta tag should not be affected upon redirecting URLs.

    Rank Math doesn’t modify the robots meta in the source URL when implementing a redirection rule to it.

    Can you please share the affected URL here so we can take a closer look at it?
