  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the "noindex" option on your WordPress site. It seems like there might be a conflict or a setting that needs to be adjusted in Rank Math.

To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:

    1. Check Titles & Meta Settings: Navigate to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta. Ensure that the settings for your categories and posts are set according to your preferences. If any categories are set to "noindex" by default, you can change them to "index" as needed.
      Index tags

    2. Edit Individual Posts/Pages: For the specific pages that are showing the noindex code, edit each page and check the Rank Math SEO settings below the post editor. Make sure the No Index checkbox is unchecked in the Advanced tab.

    3. Bulk Actions: If multiple posts are affected, you can use the bulk actions feature to set them to index. Go to the Posts menu, filter by Articles Noindexed, select the posts, and then choose Set to Index from the bulk actions dropdown.

    4. Elementor Settings: Since you mentioned that the noindex option in Elementor is always selected, ensure that there are no conflicting settings in Elementor itself. Sometimes, caching plugins or other settings can cause issues with how changes are reflected.

If after following these steps the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

Please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math SEO > Titles & Meta > Global Meta and disable the Noindex Empty Category and Tag Archives option. That should fix the issue. Let us know if it doesn’t.

    We are here to assist.

    Hi Jaideep,

That did uncheck the “no index” on the elementar tab, but it looks like this code is still present on the page: <meta name=”robots” content=”follow, noindex”>

    Thanks,
    Stefan

Nevermind, it looks like caching was holding it up. Thank you for your help Jaideep!
