I have updated Rank Math to the latest version, but now I have an issue with my main post on my Website.

It’s failing on Google Search Console as:
URL is not on Google: Indexing errors
It cannot appear in Google Search results until it’s indexed. Learn more
    Submitted URL marked β€˜noindex’

I’ve made no changes at all in the last 6 months, but this error has happened all of a sudden.

On the Rank Math Settings, INDEX is ticked.

This error seems to have popped up since the latest update of the Rank Math this week.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I have checked the URL you have shared and it appears on Google results just fine but seems recently indexed. Could you please let us know if your are facing this issue.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Thanks for responding. In my Google search console, it’s still showing as blocked by robots.

This page has been online since around August 2019, I’m not sure what’s caused it to get blocked all of a sudden?

Updated with image to show error.

    Hello,

You can ask Google to re-index your URL and check if the error persists. You can also choose to ignore since everything is appearing alright with your URL and wait until when Google will crawl and index your site again.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

It’s not allowing me to Index as it says that the header is blocking the robots.

Ill have to wait and see

Any update with this please? I’m concerned that I’m going to lose rankings when google updates the page as it’s bugged my site as ‘noindex’ when I haven’t set this

    thanks

    Hello,

In the source code, it seems it is set as index, also in your robots. Also, you can check it using external tools like https://smallseotools.com/google-index-checker/ and you will see it is indexed.

So it seems to be a false positive in the Google Search Console and you can safely ignore it until Google fixes it, since it is not affecting your ranking in any way (or it wouldn’t be indexed).

    Looking forward to help you.
