    Hi,

Our website: https://deutschlandescorts.de/ is having indexing usses and i honestly cannot figure out why. The home page is now indexed, since i added a robots.txt file, however the inner pages, which are set to be indexed are showing as noindex as you can see here, for example: view-source:https://deutschlandescorts.de/berlin-escorts/

I have imported the configuration of this plugin from another one of our websites which works absolutely fine and the pages were showing as index, follow when on the staging server for this website. However, since moving this website to the live domain, it’s just not working.

I have contacted the hosting company and they are only saying it’s an issue with the configuration of the rank math plugin. I personally think it’s an issue with the hosting side. However, i was hoping you could have a double check and see if there is anything that might be causing this issue?
    Thank you in advance!

  • Hello,

I apologize for the indexing issues you are facing on your website. I understand that the inner pages, like https://rankmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/robts.txt-file-3.jpg are showing as noindex despite being configured to be indexed.

Based on the information you provided, it seems like the Rank Math plugin configuration might be causing the problem. To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:

    1. Check Noindex Settings in Rank Math:

      • Navigate to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta.
      • Verify that the settings for the specific pages are not set to "noindex."
      • Ensure that the global settings do not have the option to discourage search engines enabled.
    2. Verify Robots.txt Rules:

      • Check the robots.txt file to ensure there are no disallow rules preventing indexing.
      • You can edit the robots.txt file in Rank Math at WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Edit Robots.txt.
    3. Inspect Page Source:

      • Open the page source of the affected URLs and check if there is a "noindex" meta tag present.

If after checking these settings, the issue persists, it might be beneficial to review the hosting configuration as well. Double-checking these settings should help identify and resolve any misconfigurations causing the indexing issues.

If you need further assistance or if the problem persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you promptly.
