About this issue: The rel=”nofollow” attribute is an element in an tag that tells crawlers not to follow the link (e.g., “<a
href=”
http://example.com/link” rel=”nofollow”>Nofollow link example“).”Nofollow” links don’t pass any link juice to
referred webpages. That’s why it is not recommended that you use nofollow attributes in internal links. You should let link juice
􀆙ow freely throughout your website. Moreover, unintentional use of nofollow attributes may result in your webpage being
ignored by search engine crawlers even if it contains a valuable content. How to 􀆗x: Make sure not to use nofollow attributes by
mistake. Remove them from tags, if necessary.

• Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I checked this URL https://toptrendpk.com/how-to-sharpen-used-and-dull-drill-bits/ and the internal links are set as rel=noopener. Rank Math doesn’t has the option to set dofollow on internal links. Please refer to the article on how internal link controls works in Rank Math : https://rankmath.com/kb/link-controls/ also I would consider going through this one as well: https://rankmath.com/kb/pillar-content-internal-linking/

As far as making the external links nofollow, you can set it in WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings – Links and click on Nofollow External Links to activate it. Please refer this article : https://rankmath.com/kb/should-you-nofollow-external-links/#nofollow-all-external-links

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.

Thank you

Hi

I am want to set all internal link by default as dofollow links. If their any option or setting to do this.i you required login then i will provide you please review my setting.

Or i Have to open one by one all articles then set them as dofollow please guide me in details please.

Hello,

I’ve checked your posts, and your internal links are already not showing as nofollow. If they are not set as nofollow, then search engines understand that they are already set to dofollow, and you no longer need to add the tag for that.

By default, all links are dofollow links unless they are modified to be nofollow links manually or are automatically changed by a website setting.

Also, please note that Rank math does not have an option to nofollow internal links. We only have the option to nofollow external links as mentioned by my colleague above.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.
