Hi, I keep getting a message. No valid sitemap for crawler. I have checked the no index tag and also XML sitemap. Both are correct. What can be the problem? Also, my pages don’t get indexed at Google search control since April 2025. I do submit the links manually at the URL inspection. Please advise, what to do. Thanks. My domain is, nomadsince2016.site. I have added the keywords, but I don’t see anything feedback because my pages are not indexed. Let me know, what to do. Thanks

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your sitemap and indexing. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the "No valid sitemap" message and improve your chances of getting indexed by Google:

    1. Check Sitemap Accessibility: Ensure that your sitemap is accessible. You can use this tool to check if your sitemap is returning any errors: HTTP Status Checker. If your sitemap returns a 404 error, you can refer to our tutorial on how to fix it: Fix Sitemap 404 Error.

Check if sitemap is accessible with the httpstatus tool

    2. Caching Issues: Sometimes, caching can prevent recent changes from being reflected in your sitemap. You can refer to our guide on how to exclude your sitemap from caching: Exclude Sitemaps from Caching.

    3. Resubmit Your Sitemap: After ensuring that your sitemap is accessible and not cached, remove it from Google Search Console and then resubmit it. You can follow this tutorial for guidance: Submit Sitemap to Google.

Submit sitemap to Google Search Console

    4. Check for NoIndex Tags: Since you’ve already checked the noindex tag, ensure that the Search engine visibility option in WordPress is unchecked. You can find this setting under Settings → Reading in your WordPress admin dashboard.

Search engine visibility test from settings

    5. Validate Fix in Google Search Console: Once you’ve made the necessary changes, go back to Google Search Console and use the Validate Fix option to inform Google about the changes.

    6. Monitor Manual Actions: Check if there are any manual actions against your site in Google Search Console that might be affecting indexing.

If you continue to experience issues after following these steps, we recommend replying to this ticket so a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to help you resolve it soon!
