Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
If you were using google analytics tracking code to track your traffic, please check if it is still set right. This has been known to cause false drop in traffic.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your quick reply. I use the GA plug in, where my code is put and yesterday after I discovered this issue, I went and put the GA code in the <head> section, maybe I made it worse who knows. When I sent my question to the support staff, I was told that Rankmath does not put the GA tracking code on all the pages. Could you please advise me on what to do?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Rank Math doesn’t add nor remove any Google Analytics code (it is not a function we have implemented yet) so if your previous SEO plugin was adding it (I don’t know) you should add it manually to all the pages you want it or using a plugin to add it for you.
For example, this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/ Or if you prefer a more lightweight plugin, this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/googleanalytics/
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
