Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
I’ve checked the product, and indeed the robots meta is set to noindex.
Since you have already marked the product as index in Rank Math settings, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Let us know how this goes.
Thank you.
Ok so I found the plugin in question.
https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-one-page-shopping/7158470
See this page https://guysgrooming.com.au/product/the-interview-package-gift-card/
When you go to view source the plugin is on, it adds a line 17 <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex, follow” />
view-source:https://guysgrooming.com.au/product/the-interview-package-gift-card/
But when I turn off the plugin it reads how it is suppose to read.
<meta name=”robots” content=”follow, index, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1, max-image-preview:large” />
Is there anyway to disable the meta settings on this plugin through a script or robots rule?
Let me know when you can.
Hello,
You need to contact the developer of that plugin as it is the one adding the noindex
attribute. They are in the best position to resolve it.
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
