Hello,
I have turned pages to noindex status in Rankmath.
But they still appears in the Sitemap which Google Search Console returns as an error.
Is there a way to remove noIndex pages from the Sitmap automatically?
Thanks

Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
could you please refresh your sitemap and make sure your sitemap is not cached by following these steps?
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.
Thanks a lot for your reply. But it didn’t. I still see the same page.
On top of that, when I go to a page and I try to change it from NoIndex to Index, I see that the page is saved. But when I refresh the page it is still marked no Index.
I have purged all caches several times.
I have follow instructions in your video
I have updated the sitemap details in WPRocket so that it no longer chaches the sitemap.
Nothing has changed.
Sitemap doesn’t get updated.
And, now I see there is this impossible to change NoIndex status.
Please help.Hello,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I checked the URL you shared and it is actually set to index, check the URL I have added in the sensitive section.
I was unable to access site, your wp-login page redirects in a loop, even after running the URL to whitelist my IP.
Please check and let us know. Looking forward to helping you

It’s the same thing when I try to add canonical URL. I can’t do it. Something is blocking the saving of updated parameters.
I have tested updating it in Developer mode in Sucuri and Cloudflare after purging all caches. Settings didn’t get saved either.
I have figured out how to make page nonIndex or Index. It was a problem due to my Firewall.
I have now them correctly.
Purged cache everywhere it is
I have updated WProcket so that Rankmath Sitemap is never cached. The sitemap is still not updated correctly.
Google is going to hate me.
Please helpHello,
Glad you got the first issue sorted.
Checking your sitemap, I see that Sucuri is caching it.
https://i.rankmath.com/tarBkyI hope this helps you with your issue.
No it’s not. I have deactivated Sucuri cache entirely, purged it, purge cache locally, purge CDN cloudflare cache. I haved use the hack I received at the beginning of this tickent. I still have this XML problem.
Could you tell me which file is called when Rankmath updates its sitemap. I’ll check with Sucuri if there is something that stops it from updating.
In the meanwhile, I’ll have to fine an alternative. Please tell me if there is an easy way to create a list of noIndex page, post with their IDs so that I can update the sitemap manually until things get fixed?
It seems I’d have to switch SEO plugins entirely if I want an XML sitemap that excludes NoIndex pages automatically.Hello,
I was now able to access your site.
The
../getstarted/
URL you shared redirects to some other URL on your site which is set to index, check screencast 1 in the sensitive section.. It also doesn’t appear in the sitemap.I also checked all your pages in the sitemap(screencast 2), one by one and of all 15 pages in the sitemap, none is set to noindex.
Please make sure to try checking your sitemap in a private/incognito browser and hit hard refresh, you might be viewing a browser cached sitemap.
If the issue persists, please share other URLs that are set to noindex and still appear in sitemap.
Looking forward to helping you
OMG! It seems something worked.
There must be some kind of long delay before changes appear.
But there is still a bug for one page
/contact/
It is NoIndex in the back-end and still present in the sitemap.Hello,
The page sitemap doesn’t contain the contact page from my end, check the screenshot in the sensitive section.
Would you mind hard refreshing your sitemap in a private browser?
Windows: Ctrl + F5
Mac/Apple: Apple + R or command + R
Linux: F5Let me know if this helps.
Thank you
