no index page with google console error

    this error appears in google console https://foodhut.ph/category/home-decor/ . we give an index to this page but we have 1 page with no index. that page is our maintenance page. but now, lots of google index pages appears the word “maintenance”. please check and help to fix it. this is what appears in Google search results:

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Just to be sure, what is the issue there? Since it is an e-mail from Google letting you know they are checking if everything is fine. Also, I went to that URL and saw in the webpage source code that it is already set as index so Google will validate the issue and mark it as fixed.

    thank you and we appreciate your reply.

    we are just bothered because we saw that some google pages appeared the word “Maintenance”. will this eventually out in the google or is it because of wrong configuration we did in the plugin? is there any setting that you can recommend to change inside the plugin?

    Hello,

    There are a few things you must check for in order to have your posts are indexed.

    1. Make sure the post is not selected as ‘noindex’ in WP > Posts > Your Post > Advanced Tab in Rank Math.

    2. Ensure that the noindex is not selected for Global or Posts meta:

    3. Check the sitemap settings and check if the posts are setup to be included in the sitemaps:

    Please note that it is completely upto Google if they want to index or not index your website. So, if you haven’t willingly or accidentally made your posts noindex and Google still isn’t indexing your page – it means that either Google doesn’t want to index or hasn’t crawled your page yet because it hasn’t allocated that much crawl budget to your website.
