  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the H1 tag on your homepage. To resolve this, please ensure that you have set a specific page as your homepage. You can do this by navigating to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Reading and checking the Your homepage displays section. If it is set to display a static page, make sure to edit that page and include your desired H1 tag in the page title.

    Here’s a quick guide:

    1. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Reading.
    2. Check if your homepage is set to display a static page.
    3. If it is, go to WordPress Dashboard > Pages, find your homepage, and click Edit.
    4. Ensure that the page title includes your desired H1 tag.
    5. Click Update to save changes.

If you continue to experience issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hi RankMath,

I followed these instructions. My homepage is a static page. I went to edit but had no idea where to find my H1 tag.

Sorry, I’m not good at this. I write romance books 🙂

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The SEO Analyzer result usually checks your homepage for any issues, so if it says that you don’t have an H1 tag, it means that your homepage is missing this important element. An H1 tag is a heading that tells search engines and users what your page is about. It should be descriptive, relevant, and include your main keyword.

Usually, the theme is the handling the H1 tag for the homepage. If the page is a static page, you can insert the H1 tag via the content editor.

However, we checked your homepage and it seems to be set to show only an image without content. So if the H1 tag is not needed, you can ignore the error shown in the SEO Analyzer.

We hope this helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.
