Hello,
I have installed rank math in my site. Unfortunately, I don’t see e-commerce purchases in GA4 (I think you should also check the validity of the data on page views and hits).
Please help.

Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that you are facing issues with e-commerce purchases not being visible in GA4 despite installing Rank Math on your site. To ensure that the data is valid for page views and hits, please follow these steps:
-
Check Google Analytics Tracking Code: Verify that you have added the Google Analytics tracking code to your site correctly. You can do this by looking for the measurement ID (G-XXXXXX) in the page source code or searching for
google_gtagjs. -
Enable Install Analytics Code: If you haven’t added the tracking code externally, you can use Rank Math’s feature to install the Analytics code. Go to Rank Math’s Analytics settings and enable the Install Analytics code option.
-
Clear Cache and Verify Tracking Code: After enabling the Analytics code, clear your site’s cache and check if the tracking code has been added to the front end correctly.
-
Use Google Tag Assistant: To verify the correct implementation of the Analytics code, you can use Google’s Tag Assistant tool to ensure it is added to all pages of your website.
If after following these steps you still encounter issues with e-commerce purchases not showing up in GA4, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for reaching out, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.

Making the Most of the Analytics in Rank MathI did everything according to your instructions. How can I still install the GA4 code by rankh math?
I added it in GTMThe tag theoretically fires up in debug mode, but I can’t see the purchases in GA4 (I did test purchases from an incognito window)
I am also sending screenshots of GA4
I wrote to google support about the problem and got a response:
Investigation:
We navigated to the GA4 service ID: 438283889 > Reports > Increase online sales > E-commerce purchases.
After checking, you can see that there is no data in the report.
We went to: Reports > Check User Behavior > Events and we can see the data reported for the “Purchase” event.
We moved to: GTM container ID: GTM-TPW59WR5 and we performed a test transaction and after checking, we can see that the GA4 tag runs on the page.
Comments:From the above investigation, I can see that when I click “Add to cart”, the GA4 tag has been triggered on the site. However, the “Add to Cart” event is not registered and does not pass the necessary values in the tag, which seems to be a problem with the e-commerce implementation.
I suggest you contact your web developer to check your eCommerce configuration and make sure it is properly implemented and working as intended.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.
A few notes:
1. When you enable the Install analytics code option in Rank Math, it would only install Google Analytics on your website. To setup enhanced e-commerce features to track purchases, you will need to take additional steps, like setting up Events tracking, etc. You can learn more from Google guides here and here.
2. If you are using Google Tag Manager to install the Google Analytics tag on your website, then you do not need to enable the Install analytics code option. And the steps to measure e-commerce are also different when using Google Tag Manager, here is Google’s guide for it.
3. It appears you are not using Rank Math, and the Rank Math plugin is not installed on your website. If you need to switch to Rank Math, you can use this guide.
We hope this helps you resolve the issue. Don’t hesitate to contact us again with any other questions or concerns regarding Rank Math. We are always happy to help.
Thank you for choosing Rank Math!
I did everything according to the instructions. As a precaution I deactivated the yoast seo plugin and installed your plugin once again. Unfortunately this still did not change anything and now the tag is not visible on the page. Please check that everything is done correctly.
I also have another site where your plugin works fine.I managed to get the theme to the point as in the screenshots. The tag fires correctly, but it doesn’t transfer the e-commerce data to GA4.
Hello,
I’m not sure you understand. Rank Math does not track Enhanced eCommerce events like purchases. We can only install the Google Analytics code on your website. If you need to track e-commerce events, you’d have to set this up manually using the guides I shared above or you can use a third-party tool to set it up.
We hope this helps clarify the issue. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
