No category base still visible old issue #4098

    Hi

    This is an old issue which has not been resolved actually it got worse I think. Since canonical urls are being effected as well. The canonical urls show with the category base at least english and german. Dutch and French are correct However it depends which url. Often German isn’t correct.

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    I was able to check that you changed the default category base to cat and also translated it. The remove category base works for the default base. I switched back to the default base and also removed the translations of the base, and the remove category base option is working fine with the correct canonical URL:

    Hi

    Thanks for the fix. We are almost there as most errors are gone. The only errors we receive now is that Hreflang is pointing also to non-canonical. Is there a fix for that?

    What happens that the url https://yazzys.com/de/schmuck/ has the hreflang url https://yazzys.com/de/product-category/schmuck/ is this fixable?
