    Hi, I created a post in Rank Math group for my website news sitemap. The group support team has told me to create a ticket to solve my problem. My news sitemap is showing 404, please try to solve the problem. And my another question is: I also want to use Google’s Indexing API plugin with Rank Math.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    You can fix this issue by flushing your permalinks by heading over to Settings > Permalinks and hitting save. I have done this for you and the sitemap is working smoothly.

    Hi, I have successfully set up Google API indexing plugin. And my website “sitemap-news.xml” also works good.

    By the by, do I need to install also “sitemap.xml”? Or not need to install sitemap.xml if I use google news sitemap? can you tell me about it?

    Thanks for the follow up.

    I am glad that you were able to successfully install the indexing API plugin.
    It is important to install the sitemap.xml file as well so as to tell Google about the pages and categories that you would like to be indexed.

    I don’t want to index category. I want to index post and pages on google. And I want to index my post on google news. So, I need to submit both sitemap on google search console, right?

    Hello

    Please turn off Rank Math’s Sitemap module and use the following plugin for generating a News Sitemap:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/xml-sitemap-feed/

    and submit the index of it to Google News.
