Hello
Your most recent update has caused me to lose my ratings from recently crawled pages by Google. I use a separate plugin to generate product schema within the post for a specific product with scores and aggregate review scores. This has not been subject to any update recently, just Rank Math. It has been working fine until this today.
Now they are gone or going. Kindly check this for me as it is having a dramatic effect.
I have included sample URLs in sensitive data.
regards

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
Rank Math plugin adds the necessary markup for rich snippets. It may take some time before they show up in the search results, please allow a few days for Google to pick up the information.
Google will not necessarily show the rating stars, though, they check a few things first and may choose not to show, for instance, they check the overall quality of the site, and if the review content is representative of the main content of the page or not.
Here is a quote from one of the Google’s help article:
We perform algorithmic and manual quality checks to ensure that structured data meets relevancy standards. In cases where we see structured data that does not comply with these standards, we reserve the right to disable rich snippets for a site in order to maintain a high-quality search experience for our users. Read our webmaster guidelines for more details.

If you believe that the rich snippets have not been added to your site. Send us a link to that particular page you are testing and we can check it using this tool:

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
No that is incorrect, I am talking about pages there for a while with stars and after the last Rank math update a few days ago the pages’ stars disappeared.
We follow this carefully using Semrush, plus we do check schema markup checkups also.
I have sent you sample links in the sensitive data already. Please take more time and analyze this issue.
I need more insight from 2nd line.

Ok so for one of them, the URL saying BTR5, the snippets checker is saying two product schema when there should only be 1 detected. The second URL showing ztella in the address is showing 1 product schema. I can find no reason why one of them has 2 or if that is the reason why the stars have been dropped.
I have uploaded a new screenshot to show you the 2 product schema.
Please note the other URL only has one product schema but its stars are still gone and they used to be there.

HI I have correct the dual product schema problem, but the URL has still lost its stars, as have quite a few others.
ok so I do not know if there was a schema error or the google canonical issues is the root cause but I am reindexing all the pages that have been missing their stars. Several have come back, several have not. Some of the ones that have not are showing stars on mobile index but not desktop.
Just to update this, maybe over 50% of the sites indexed submissions have no star ratings anymore and quite a lot of them are not pulling from the submitted meta descriptions when they used to. It seems to me something has gone wrong with indexing, possibly the site map or how Google is seeing the pages when crawling. I never had this issue before.
May I request 2nd line support go through the issues in some detail to determine the exact problem with the indexing and meta descriptions?

anyone responding?
Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response.
Upon checking further, the star rating Schema is added by the following plugin:
https://codecanyon.net/item/lets-review-wordpress-review-plugin-with-affiliate-options/15956777
Please contact that plugin developer to help you with that issue.
Rank Math’s Schema is not responsible for showing the Rating Schema on your website.
Hope that clears the confusion. Thank you.
Yes I am fully aware of who generates the scheme but the issue started after the last update from Rank Math.
There has been no change in the setup of that plugin and has been working smoothly before with Yoast and then with Rank Math SEO up until the last update.
I tried a rollback 2 days ago. But I also remember that version had some big issues regarding pulling the default meta into new articles, that why I went back to the new version.
I can try again though tomorrow but I am still struggling to understand this. It’s not every review, maybe half or 40% not showing so it’s not systematic, or else it would be all.
I just replied to Michael who then deleted his response.
Hello,
You do not need to revert back.
Technically nothing was changed in Schema in 1.0.49 (the most recent update). This update was focused on the new Analytics module.
There could be a possibility that Google did not reindex properly, your website got hit or a Google update came.
Since no errors are showing up in the Rich Snippet Testing Tool and as mentioned earlier, the Review Rating is not coming from the Rank Math plugin so that should not be affected with any of our updates.
It could be a mere corelation here.
Unless the Schema data or the content on the pages were heavily modified, we do not see a reason why this could be coming from the Rank Math plugin.
If we are missing something here please let us know so we can assist you better.
Thank you.
Then it’s a complete mystery – right? At a hypothetical forum posting discussion level.
Hello,
Yes, it could be hard to tell what exactly caused the drop especially since there are no issues after auditing your website.
If you do have any specific reasons for believing this was caused by Rank Math, please point us to the issue so we can check in even more detail.
Well, I was hoping by you checking in more detail you could figure out if it is caused by Rank Math or something else.
If I figured out it was you guys I would not be posting this type of question in the first place.
