  • Hi

The problem which I am facing is that whenever I publish new posts on my website https://tropicalsmoothiemenus.com/ they doesn’t appear in sitemap.xml . I was previously using yoast pluging, so then I installed rankmath & now both plugins are installed on my website. I hope they will make my seo jobs 2x faster than a sinlge plugin.

Please help me with my issue on pages which are not apearing in sitemap.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with new pages not appearing in your sitemap. This can happen for a few reasons, especially when transitioning from one SEO plugin to another. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

    1. Check Plugin Conflicts: Since you have both Yoast and Rank Math installed, there might be conflicts between the two plugins. It’s recommended to deactivate Yoast to see if that resolves the issue with the sitemap.

    2. Sitemap Settings: Ensure that the Sitemap module is enabled in Rank Math. You can check this by going to Rank Math Dashboard → Sitemap Settings and confirming that the settings are configured correctly.

    3. Clear Cache: If you are using any caching plugins, clear the cache after making changes to ensure that the latest sitemap is generated.

    4. Check for Custom Canonicals: If you have set custom canonical URLs for your posts, they may not appear in the sitemap. Make sure to remove any custom canonicals if you want all posts to be included in the sitemap.

    5. Submit Sitemap to Google: After ensuring everything is set up correctly, submit your sitemap index URL (`https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-sitemap-issues/#blank-page) to Google Search Console to help Google recognize your new pages.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Using two SEO plugins won’t make your SEO tasks faster. In fact, it can cause conflicts and issues. We recommend deactivating Yoast and using only Rank Math to ensure smooth performance and accurate optimization.

As foir your issue with your sitemap, please follow the steps below:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. Apply the following filter code to your site.

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

Here’s how you can add filter to your WordPress site:https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

I am following & implementing the above mentioned steps, but since it is technical work, it is hard for me to perform it.
