Need to fix website title spelling

    Hello,
    I love to use Rank Math as an SEO plugin. I always suggest this tool to my friends and family for using it. I’m facing an issue with my website title on Google. I don’t know how to fix it.

    1. My brand name is cornQ. Please check the spelling! The first character is a small letter, and the last one is a capital letter. When I search on Google using the brand name, it shows CornQ: Home. The last letter is okay with its capital letter. But I want to make the first character small. How do I do that with Rank Math? Some brand companies like eBay are using the proper spelling in Search Engines.

    2. I want to remove the Directory of Reciprocal Link from the schema. How do I do that?

    Here are the settings related to the website title:

    Even I set up the 404-page title the right way. Even in the settings section, it shows the correct result. While I browse my website, it shows the wrong one(the first character is not a small letter here. It’s capital)!

    Thanks for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.

    I checked your homepage’s source and I found that the SEO title of your homepage contains your brand name with a capital “C” i.e. “CornQ”.

    Please have a look at this screenshot for a quick reference:

    You can change this by editing the SEO Title of your homepage from your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Homepage > Homepage Title.

    If you have a static homepage, then please follow this screencast to edit the SEO title:

    After changing the SEO title, please clear your website’s cache and give Google some time to crawl your website again and see if the brand name is updated accordingly.

    Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description, then there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something that matches the search intent better.

    I followed your instruction. Still, it shows with a capital letter.

    When I was using Yoast SEO. I didn’t find this type of issue. In Rank Math SEO there are using “cornQ” everywhere. But, it shows CornQ. Even, if you will visit my website, you’ll find “CornQ” in every page title. Though it’s set as “cornQ”.

    2. I want to remove the Directory of Reciprocal Link from the schema. How do I do that?

    Please head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta and check if the Capitalize Titles option is enabled:
    cap-title

    And check again?
