Need Help Accessing FTP Credentials for Reinstalling Rank Math After Migration

    Hi Rank Math Support Team,

    This is Theresa from HyperSKU.

    We’ve been using the Rank Math plugin to optimize our blog content and SEO performance. Recently, we migrated our website to a new WordPress backend. Now, we’d like to reinstall the Rank Math plugin to continue monitoring and improving our SEO scores.

    However, during installation, the system is prompting us to enter the following:

    Hostname

    FTP Username

    FTP Password

    I reached out to our IT team, and they confirmed that after the migration, the credentials should be the same as those from our previous WordPress setup. Unfortunately, we no longer have access to the old credentials.

    For your reference, our previous site was: https://www.hypersku.com/

    Could you please check on your end if you have any record of our previous FTP credentials associated with our site or Rank Math account? Additionally, can you advise where we might be able to retrieve or reset these credentials?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Please note that Rank Math does not have access to your FTP credentials, as they are managed by your web hosting provider.

    WordPress asks for FTP credentials when it doesn’t have direct file system access, often due to server permission settings.

    In this case, we recommend getting in touch with them to resolve this issue.
