    Please my website nanakofi.net is experiencing duplicate canonical Url issue. I have tried your tips but seems not working at my end. Any help please

    I’ve checked your site, and indeed there are duplicate meta tags including the canonical URL. Those duplicate data are coming from one of your plugins or active theme.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), to determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Please the first thing I need is to solve the duplicate canonical Url and any other thing else. All the solutions you gave isn’t solving the duplicate canonical Url issue. I am a complete beginner in WordPress so anytime, I am very cautious about working with it, if you can consider and solve it for me I will be very happy I beg.     I would like to conduct troubleshooting to determine if there are other plugins or your current theme that might be adding that duplicate canonical tag by following this guide but the “Health Check & Troubleshooting” plugin doesn’t seem to be working on your website.

    Is it possible for you to create a staging website for us to deeply debug the issue without worrying about breaking your live site? If so, please create one, replicate the issue there and share the admin login here so we can further determine what’s causing this issue.

    Please is quite unfortunate that I am a complete beginner and don’t know how to create a stagging website. I Searched and it’s seems it involves cpanel but I currently don’t have any technical skills. The last time this issue came, One developer solve it by using your code and he paste it below the function PHP code. I have tried it but it’s not working maybe I didn’t do it well. If you can try that and see if that works. I am much humbled to your recommendations.

    Since you are using the Latest Posts as your homepage, there is no option to manually add an H1 to it. You will have to get in touch with the support of your theme if you want to add an H1 heading. They will be able to do it for you.
