My Site’s Favicon Has Stopped Showing on Google

    Hi,
    Towards the ending of last month till date, I noticed my site’s favicon has disappeared from Google search results.
    I don’t know why this is happening. The favicon url is accessible and setup on rank math and nothing was altered before it started happening.
    I use litespeed cache, which I’ve been using for a year now and seo was fine.
    I also use hide my wp ghost. I don’t think these has anything to interfere with it, I’ve been using it since the year began as well.

    I just upgraded my hosting cause I have traffic my previous hosting plan consumed the hosting cpu which sometimes results into 503 error for 3 or 5mins on the site. I just upgraded yesterday when the hosting company attempted to suspend my account on Friday, but after a plea, it was unsuspended till I upgraded yesterday.

    I have issues in the search console I’ve carefully reviewed them and requested Validation, they’re still on validation.

    This issue seems to have affected my site ranking cause I noticed a 40 or 30% drop in my search result rankings. It’s really troubling my mind. Let me know if there is actually something could advise I do about this problem. Thank you

    Thank you for contacting us and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Unfortunately, Rank Math has no control over how the favicon will appear on the SERP. The images on Google SERPs are not controlled via the Schema markup or any plugin, it mostly depends on the keyword search term and the website authority.

    You can check these Google guidelines on how to ensure that your favicon is set up to show on the search results page.
