Are you using any cache plugin? If yes, could you try by adding the following cache exceptions and then resaving the permalinks:
/(.*)sitemap(.*).xml
/(.*)sitemap.xsl

The plugin am using is LiteSpeed Cache.
I’ve added the login credentials in the sensitive information section,
Please login and fix it.
My traffic is really dropping.

I published post 4 days back, And my sitemap was not updated.
In other post on same forum, I saw solution about re-saving permalinks again without any changes. But frankly, its temporary hack and not the solution. The sitemap must be updated dynamically and RM should notify search engines about changes. (Very basic function obviously expected! Sorry RM team but this must be fixed ASAP!)
