Please follow the steps in this link for initial troubleshooting (if not yet):
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

I just tried both methods but am still not able to make the sitemap work.
I am using the Nitropack plugin just so you know.
I have tried the video method and edited the .htaccess file to exclude the sitemap from caching but still, it didn’t work.

Hello,
There is a known issue with the latest version of Nitropack where the sitemap is showing a white page, and they are already working on resolving this.
In this case, please try rolling back to version 1.5.12 of Nitropack to fix the issue.

Thanks for the update.
I will wait for the next update. I am not sure how I can rollback to the previous version but thanks again.
BTW, I just deactivated NitroPack plugin but still sitemap is not opening. It’s showing that white screen.
