My product-sitemap.xml is not updating and My Products are tag Nonindexed

    It’s a nightmare for me that some of my products are indexed and some are not. I have tried everything, but still, I see my products are tagged as noindex, and siteMap is showing only a few products. I read a forum where it says if your product page has a buy now button, then rankmath will consider it a checkout page.

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with your product sitemap not updating and your products being tagged as noindex. It can indeed be frustrating when some of your products are indexed while others are not.

    To address the noindex issue, please ensure that you have not set your products or the entire website to noindex. You can check this by going to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Posts/Pages/Products/CPTs. Additionally, make sure that the "Discourage search engines from indexing this site" option is not enabled in WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Reading.

    Ensure Search Engine Visibility option is unchecked

    Regarding the sitemap, if it is not updating correctly, you may want to check if there are any settings preventing certain products from being included. Ensure that the products you want indexed are not excluded from the sitemap settings. You can find these settings in Rank Math’s Sitemap settings.

    If your product pages have a buy now button and are being treated as checkout pages, this could potentially affect their indexing status. Make sure that these pages are configured correctly in Rank Math’s settings to avoid being marked as noindex.

    Meanwhile, please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    Regarding the source code you’ve shared in the sensitive data section, Rank Math offers a No Index and No Follow option in the admin menu bar, which could show up in the page’s source code when logged in.

    The actual noindex tag will be added like this: <meta robots="noindex">

    It was my mistake I used Canonical URLs for products with index and was expecting all of the duplicate products in the sitemap. Found in one of the rankmath canonical YouTube video, their URL was also exculded from the sitemap as well. Thanks for help and support.
