  • Hello,

    I apologize for the issue you are facing with your product sitemap not updating. It sounds like you’ve already taken some great steps to troubleshoot the problem. Here are a few additional suggestions that might help:

    1. Flush Permalinks: Sometimes, flushing the permalinks can resolve issues with sitemaps. You can do this by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks and simply clicking the Save Changes button without making any changes.
      Flush Permalinks settings

    2. Check for Plugin Conflicts: It’s possible that another plugin is conflicting with Rank Math. You can use the Health Check plugin to identify any potential conflicts.

    3. Disable Transient Caching: If you haven’t already, you can add the following filter to your theme’s rank-math.php file to disable transient caching:

      add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

      Make sure to save your changes and clear your website cache afterward.

    4. Check Robots.txt: Ensure that your sitemap URL is not being blocked by any rules in your robots.txt file. You can check this by going to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → robots.txt.

    If you’ve tried all these steps and are still experiencing issues, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern, and we’re here to help!

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns with us.

    The Crawled – currently not indexed status on Google Search Console means that Google has crawled these pages but has not indexed them. Finding a certain number of URLs with this status is entirely normal because Google does not index all the URLs we submit.

    This isn’t an error but there are some reasons for excluding the page from its index. Here’s a link for more information and how to fix it: https://rankmath.com/kb/crawled-currently-not-indexed/

    There is nothing you can do to solve the Crawled – Currently not Indexed status other than wait for Google to start indexing them, as it means that Google has successfully crawled the URLs but hasn’t decided to index them yet due to reasons only known to them.

    Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
