  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that your posts are not being picked up by Google. To ensure that your Rank Math plugin is set up correctly and your posts are optimized for search engines, here are a few things you can check:

    1. Meta Tags: Make sure that your posts have correct meta tags set up. Incorrect meta tags can affect how search engines index your content. You can refer to this detailed tutorial on how to set up meta tags properly: How to Setup Rank Math.

    2. Structured Data: Ensure that your posts have proper structured data. This helps search engines understand the content better. Rank Math automatically adds additional tags to help search engines understand your website’s content.

    3. News Sitemap: If you are aiming to get your posts listed in Google News, make sure you have a News Sitemap set up. You can refer to this guide on Working With the News Sitemap in Rank Math for more information.

    4. Google Indexing: If your website is new, it may take some time for Google to index your site. You can use the Instant Indexing plugin for Google to submit your URLs to Google for faster indexing.

By checking these points and ensuring that your Rank Math plugin is correctly set up, you can improve the chances of your posts being picked up by Google. If you need further assistance or have more questions, feel free to reply here, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you promptly.

We appreciate you reaching out with your concern and are here to help you optimize your website for better visibility on search engines.

    Thank you!

please see the image here https://ibb.co/3B4V21n

as you can see it is not bringing up the title and the page. just wondering if i have the plugin set up wrong

    Hello,

We’ve checked the affected URLs, and they are already set to index.

You can also verify the title and description by using these tools:
    https://heymeta.com
    https://rankmath.com/tools/meta-tag-analyzer/

Please note that Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and shows something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

    Looking forward to helping you.

hi thank you for the info but this does not really help. I am trying to find out if it is set up correctly because i can no longer find any of my posts in google. as per the image i sent you. that was just one example, all my posts are now like that instead of what they should look like

    Hello,

Your metadata setup is fine, and the posts are indexed in the SERPs. However, your homepage is a collection of the latest posts and has the title and excerpt of the posts. Google is picking that and ranking your homepage instead of the posts.

In this case, you should work on optimizing the content of the posts and try to minimize the excerpt in the post preview on the homepage.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
