Backing up the WordPress is necessary as editing .htaccess file may make the website inaccessible. Though editing with Rank Math editor, it’s safe, but we cannot take any risk when we are editing .htaccess file.

We would require FTP / cPanel access to be able to make the changes.
I’ve made the edits whatever possible from the WordPress dashboard.
Please share the FTP / cPanel detail or even better you can ask hosting provider to do the changes at the server level.

I have hosted in easywp in namecheap. it has no cpanel or fttp access. Do you have any idea to fix in there?

As there’s no FTP / cPanel access, I would suggest posting a question to Namecheap. They can easily modify the htaccess rule from the server level.

As you suggested i have contacted the customer service of namecheap and figured it our that easywp (my hosting) doesn’t have .htaccess, instead it has Nginx server. They suggested me to ask you the code for Nginx server and to provide them they will do it from there! Kindly send that code for Nginx server and please find the screenshot of the chat i had with customer agent for the confirmation

Hello there! As i have contacted my server team, they have told even if the code they will put on the server it is only for temporary according to architecture of easywp, so they have suggested me to install one plugin called insert header and footer by wp, and to paste some code over the header to solve this issue permanently. here is the code of it. I am not sure, if the rank math is compatible with this plugin
