You can share a screenshot of the console with us if you see any warnings or errors.

Do keep only Rank Math and default theme enabled and see if the issue persists.
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Those errors usually are caused when something is blocking access to the WordPress REST API.
This could also suggest that there is a conflict between Rank Math and one of your installed plugins which might be having the WordPress REST API disabled. To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Please try activating only Rank Math and a default theme and see if the issue persists.
If that didn’t help, please contact your web host and ask if your server is blocking it, firewall policies, or even a security plugin.

My web host said they don’t block REST API calls, however, after following the error message from the console, it turns out that the plugin WordFence was blocking the API call EVEN THOUGH it wasn’t installed on my website! it was on my other website, but I guess this happened because they share the same server.
anyways, the plugin works fine now, thanks for the help.
