multilingual keywords

  • If I set a page in multiple languages, for example Italian and English, and in the Italian page the keyword is already in English (The Montecristo Project is the title of my novel also in Italy): in this case what keyword do I put on the English page?

  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out with your question about multilingual keywords. When setting a page in multiple languages like Italian and English, and the keyword is already in English on the Italian page, you should use the same keyword on the English page. In your case, since "The Montecristo Project" is the title of your novel in both Italian and English, you can use this keyword on both the Italian and English pages for consistency and to optimize your SEO strategy across languages.

If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and bringing your concern to our attention.

Once you have optimized the page for a keyword in the main language, its translated version will also be optimized for the keyword’s translation. The translation plugin will take care of the translation of the content and meta tags, and there is nothing you need or can do on your end.

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the reply and reassurances. But Rank Math still reports it as an error: “You have already used this reference keyword”

    Hello,

Can you please share the affected pages URLs with the focus keyword you’re currently using on your website so that we can check the issue further for you?

However, please note that the SEO score is only for your reference and doesn’t affect the actual SEO performance of your site. If you feel any of them don’t apply to your page or you have already done them, you can safely ignore them as search engines test the live version of your site.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
