    Hi,

I have been using rankmath on my site.

From yesterday, we were working on re-branding.

I have moved my wordpress website from old-domain to new-domain.

For the details, I have moved all the files, database to the new-domain.

Also, I have added 301 redirects to the old-domain for backlinks juice facing and redirects of visitors and that’s working perfectly

Now the thing is I am not able to see any changes inside rankmath, its still working as normal in the new-domain.

But I am confuse that what should I change in the rankmath setting so that it start working for the new website. (I haven’t yet submitted the new-website to google search console, I am waiting for you answer after that I will submit it.)

Also in the “screenshot 1” [attached in sensitive data], I can see that the new-domain is absence from the website list of RankMath.

Please answer my query in detail as possible that what should I do now.

Hi, How to run setup wizard again?

Should I de-active and delete the rankmath and re-install it?

    Also,

    If I re-intall it,

It will delete all the current settings as well the generated sitemap.

Is rankmath capable to generate everthing fastly?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I am not quite sure what the problem is when you say “Now the thing is I am not able to see any changes inside rankmath, its still working as normal in the new-domain.”
The plugin should comtinue to work normally since you are using the same database as the old site but you will need to activate your account by heading over to:
Rank Math > Dashboard > Help.

Next, you will need to verify the new domain on your search console and then submit the sitemap.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi Michael Davis,

    Good day,

You are right the database was old, the rankmath was working for the old-domain.

Before your reply, I uninstalled rankmath, and install it again on the new site. Then I started setup wizard and de-authorized the old site and added the new site again.

Since, I have already submitted the new-site to google search console, so it picked it up easily, and configuring become more easy.

for the mean time, I have also used google webmaster URL change tool just to let google know about the re-branding.

Now it working normal, I have also submitted sitemaps to different search consoles.

Thank you so much for the help.

    Have an great day 🙂

But in rankmath (https://rankmath.com/my-account/websites/)I am not able to see the new-website.

    How to let fix that?

    Hi,

While doing the setup wizard again for the new site. I did not found any option to connect my account.

While choosing search sonsole option, I have used my exact email that has used in my google webmaster tool.

Can you please let me know how to know which email is used inside rankmath?

I pretty sure that its the right email, but while setting it up there was no option to rather signup or sign-in,

    Thank you.

I have updated the sensitive data with another screenshot (screenshot 5).

Search analytic is showing wrong data.

It does not belong to my new site. It’s a keyword of my other website.

    Hello,

The data you see in the Search Console panel is taken from your Search Console account, so if you have connected it to the right one, the data it shows is the data Google has.

    Looking forward to help you.

    Hi Jabran,

Can you please try removing the cache and see if that helps?
    https://i.rankmath.com/Zmvjsg

    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=rank-math-options-general#setting-panel-search-console

Sometimes Google can get wonky with their API.

Please let us know if that helps. Thank you.

Hi, I have deleted the cache and then updated it munually as directed.

That fixed the error RankMath > search console > Search Analytics. Now RankMath is fetching the right keywords that belong to the new site.

But now inside “https://rankmath.com/my-account/websites/” RankMath website is still showing me the old website.

My new website does not appear there.

How to tell RankMath Profile about the new website? and Add it to https://rankmath.com/my-account/websites/

    ??

    Thank you 🙂
