Modify Permalink for Blog URL

    Hello Team,

    We have been using RankMath on our website for almost a year now, and recently we wanted to modify the URL structure on the website.

    We publish various blog posts on our website – http://www.opennebula.io/blogs, and were planning to change the permalink structure from http://www.opennebula.io/%post_name%, to http://www.opennebula.io/blog/%post_name%.

    I got a warning on the website – Rank Math Warning: Changing the permalinks on a live, indexed site may result in serious loss of traffic if done incorrectly. Consider adding a new redirection from the old URL format to the new one.

    I wanted to know the best way to make this required change.

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Please headover to WP Dashboard > Permalinks and change your permalink from there.

    You can also follow the below link:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-permalinks/

    If somehow the redirection doesn’t go as planned, You can head over to Rank Math > Redirections and create a new regix entry.
