    Hi there,

    Our mobile snapshot has been displaying a broken site for at last 10 days.

    We have performed all of Rank Math’s troubleshooting procedures to clear cache, update our transients and database tables, etc. Still, the mobile snapshot shows a broken website.

    In case you’re wondering, we have checked the frontend of our website many times with many tools (including the direct generation of our website’s snapshot at thum.io) with no issue. Our website is not broken. Rank Math’s mobile snapshot display is inaccurate.

    Based on the above:

    1. How often does Rank Math clear the snapshot cache file(s)?

    2. Please update your plugin code to reduce the transient time for clearing the snapshot cache file(s) to 3 days. Anything more than 3 days is useless.

    3. Please provide a code snippet or filter that will allow us to clear the thum.io cache file(s) at our end.

    Note: As stated in another post, it would be best for Team Rank Math to eliminate the mobile snapshot “feature”. It provides no value and does not keep up with websites’ current configurations. If eliminated, it will save Team Rank Math lots of money too (no need for a thum.io subscription).

      We currently do not have a specific code snippet or filter available for clearing the thum.io cache file. Again, this is something that may need to be addressed by our support team.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

    Rank Math uses an external script (Thum.io) for that snapshot, so we cannot do anything from our side.

    Unfortunately, that screenshot is only updated when the service’s cache runs out, which usually happens after a week or so.

    However, please note that this will not affect your live site’s mobile screenshot, as search engines test your current site’s state (which works fine).

    In this case, you may need to give it some time to clear its cache, and your website’s mobile version will be shown on the Analysis tool.

    Hello,

    We checked from our external SEO Analyzer and it seems the correct snapshot has been loaded as you can see from the screenshot below:

    Please head over to your WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math → Status & Tools → Database Tools and click on the button “Clear SEO Analyzer”.

    After that, re-run the SEO Analyzer again.
