Mixed Content warning

    Rank Math free

    Hi together,

after changing our host and setting up SSL, we encounter a mixed content error concerning a single .jpeg.

The error: Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://spielpunkt.net/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘http://spielpunkt.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Spielpunkt_2019_LOGO-scaled-e1599331113314.jpg’. This content should also be served over HTTPS. (Index):3364

    – The file is not existing in the uploads folder
    – We tried SSL plugins, like really simple SSL, that didn’t help to fix the error
    – redirections didn’t help
    – tried to fix with Header always set Content-Security-Policy: upgrade-insecure-requests in htaccess didn’t work
    – The File is linked somehow to rank math (Found a picture in the module “Local SEO” an replaced it. Didn’t fix the problem

Any advice how to fix the error or how/where to find the line in the Code?

    Thanks very much,

    André

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Where are you facing this issue? Please share some screenshots with https://imgbb.com and add the URLs in the sensitive section.

Could you also please remove the logo image in Rankmath > Titles & Meta > Local SEO and clear your cache then check if the issue still exists.

Your site doesn’t appear to be fully in secure connection:

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Could you please confirm this is coming from Rank math by disabling Rank math plugin temporarily and clearing your cache then check your site again.

If the issue only happens if Rank math is active, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Finally fixed it!

    Thanks for your help!
