    Hello,

I had an issue with the blank sitemap, but you said, it’s fine, still Google still can see it.
Now I had a problem, that I publshied an article, but it’s not showing in the SERP, even if it’s been indexed.
I tried to check sitemap if it’s included, but since I cannot see it..
So I checked the sitemap_index.xml on my Cpanel, but there is only one catched version exist, which belongs to Yoast, /public_html/wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/www.haladjunk.hu/sitemap_index.xml, so looks like RM doesn’t even have one.

please help me out with this issue.

    Kind regards: Beata

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the access.

I have deactivated the sitemap module from the Rank Math dashboard and in its place installed the Google XML sitemap which is working smoothly on your environment.
Please submit the new sitemap link https://www.haladjunk.hu/sitemap.xml to the Google search console to ensure that you do not lose any traffic because of this issue.

I hope this info helps. Thank you.

Thank you. Do you might know, why RM sitemap settings aren’t working or what caused this issue?

Since I don’t know how to exclude files from Google sitemap. If I noindex a page in the settings on the page itself, it won’t exclude from Google sitemap I recon. And robots.txt not appreaciated by Google as they pronounced. Can we make RM stemap work somehow? Also it includes post pages only. I cannot make image redirections either. So please help me to fix it. Thank you.

Also I just recognized, that I’m not able to edit robots.txt from RM. Why is it?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the follow up.

You can modify the items that will be added on your sitemap by navigating to Settings > XML sitemaps and ticking the options.
In regards to your other question, setting a page to noindex will automatically remove it from the sitemap.
Please share some FTP access so that we can investigate why the Rank Math sitemaps is not working well on your site.

    Thank you.

    Hello. Any news?

    thank you!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the patience.

You had some whitespaces on your wp-config.php file that was causing the errors on the Rank Math siteamp file. I have cleared the whitespace and the sitemap is now working.

Please check this and let me know if it is working well.

    Thank you.

    No. 🙁 Same as before.

Even though in the source code I see the datas now.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the response.

Can you confirm that you are checking this from the following URL: https://www.domain.hu/sitemap_index.xml

Here is how this looks on my end:

    Thank you.
