Missing schema items – SEOPress Pro vs RankMath

    Hello,
I paid an SEO agency to assess my site using SEOPress Pro vs staging using Rank Math. Many of the features are the same/very similar, and I’d prefer to use RM across all my sites BUT the agency recommended sticking with SEOPress Pro, as it has deeper meta tag support (things like declaring posts as a ‘tech article’ not just an ‘article’, and declaring the ‘website’ and ‘author’ as well as the ‘organization’ for posts. I appreciate that you’re working on a Premium version for the future, and that these features may well be in there. Can you confirm whether they will be in a future Premium version, and when this might be ready? Thanks.

    Hi Ben,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

HowTo schema is coming soon to Rank Math and that too in the free version.

We already provide options for using an Organization or a Person in your schema. That option is available at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Thanks for that. I’ve had to stick with SEOPress for now.
The example i meant was “article, techarticle, ‘website’ and ‘author’ as well as the ‘organization’” – these are ALL added on posts using SEOPress. With RankMath it’s just ‘article’and ‘organization’.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I will pass this on to our dev team and hopefully these options will be available on a future update of the plugin.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
