Missing published_time and updated_time tag

    I have lost all the rankings on this one particular page because of these time missing tags on the page.

    <meta property=”article:published_time” />
    <meta property=”article:modified_time” />

    Both of these meta tags of dates are missing from the source code of that page.

    Only this meta tag of updated_time is there on source code:

    <meta property=”og:updated_time” content=”2021-08-11T10:41:02+00:00″ />

    Please tell me what should I do now, as I’ve already suffered a lot of loss during these past 2 months, just because of this mess.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    We do not have the option to include the article published and modified time in the meta as Google does not use this data, the post date data is extracted from the theme instead. We only have those for OpenGraph.

    Since Google doesn’t use that data, there shouldn’t be an issue with your page’s search ranking due to that. Please check your GSC account and see there are any coverage issues regarding the affected page.

    I was also able to check that you haven’t added any Schema to the page. Please apply the Article Schema to the page to improve its SEO performance.
