Hello,
Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
To better assist, could you please confirm if the focus keywords were removed from Yoast, Rank Math, or both after the migration? Rank Math does not delete data from Yoast during migration, and the focus keywords should be properly imported. Once we have more details, we’ll help you get this sorted quickly.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
The site has premium hosting, not shared, using the Kreise themes, runs WooCommerce, the site is 7 years old 386 blog posts, and 27 products. No, we did not remove the focus keywords. Used Yoast from the beginning of the site. Reason to migrate from Yoast due to the No Index, No Follow issues with Yoast.
Tried to enable your AI never worked.James
I do expect a reply to this message, with some form of technical reply, not like this. This has also caused issues with other sites that had thousands of backlinks between them. You offer this free AI it is not free. I expect a professional reply, not a brush-off. If this continues, then we will engage our legal team and use social media. Notify WordPress of these events. This is not a threat; you leave us no options due to your complete lack of response.
James
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the challenges you’ve encountered during your migration from Yoast SEO to Rank Math.
We understand the frustration caused by the loss of focus keywords across numerous posts, pages, and products. While Rank Math does not delete any data from Yoast during migration, it’s possible that certain data may not have been imported correctly.
To address this issue:
1. Re-import Data: You can re-import your Yoast SEO data into Rank Math by navigating to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Import & Export. Under the “Other Plugins” section, select “Yoast SEO” and click “Import”. This process should restore your SEO titles, descriptions, and focus keywords.
2. Recalculate SEO Scores: After importing, some posts may display an “N/A” SEO score. This is because Rank Math needs to analyze the content to generate scores. To initiate this, go to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and use the “Update SEO Scores” option.
For more details, you can check this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/yoast-seo-migration/
3. Concerning the Content AI issue, kindly confirm you are using the latest version of our plugin, then follow this guide to ensure your Content AI credits are loaded in your website’s WP dashboard: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-restore-missing-content-ai-credits/
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
To address this issue:
I want someone technical, not these dumb replies. We have been in this business longbefore you came around. Your site map will not import to Google HTTP errors caused by your app. That is what my rep at Google determined, suggested using a real site map.
Why You Do Not Want to Do What They Suggested:
Risk of Overwriting Good Data
If you’ve already been using Rank Math for a while, importing from Yoast now could overwrite custom SEO titles, descriptions, or schema you’ve set up in Rank Math.Unreliable Migration for Complex Sites
The import tool works best on simple sites. If you had custom post types, advanced Yoast configurations, or special schema, Rank Math may not fully translate those.Scores Don’t Affect Rankings
The SEO “score” (green, orange, red) is only for your reference. Updating scores won’t change how Google views your content—it’s just Rank Math’s analysis. You may not need to trigger recalculation unless you’re using those scores to sort/filter posts. No Mention of Backups
As noted earlier, they didn’t warn you to back up your site. Any bulk import or recalculation could cause issues you can’t easily reverse.Hello,
Please share the website URL in question so we can check the validity of the sitemap.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Hey James,
Totally get why you are upset—migrating hundreds of posts is no small task. We’re really sorry for the hassle and will make sure this info is way clearer moving forward.Great. Now, what can I do about the fact that we have had to open every file and make changes? The site is dead, and all backlinks are broken to the connected sites, which have fallen in traffic. You caused this with bad information.
Hello,
We apologise for the delay in getting back to you.
Your subsitemaps seem to be returning 503 status codes. 5xx codes are usually server-related.
Please check the PHP values of your site by going to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Server. These values affect the performance of your site and they should be set atleast to the following recommendations:
PHP Memory Limit: 512M Max input time: 150 PHP time limit: 120 PHP max input variables: 1000
If any of these values are lower than the recommended ones, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase them for you.
Also, follow the steps below for further troubleshooting:
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
If the issue persists then try disabling the transient cache for the sitemap. This will make sure that your XML sitemap always reflects the latest changes on your site. Kindly add this code snippet to your site:
/** * Filter if XML sitemap transient cache is enabled. * * @param boolean $unsigned Enable cache or not, defaults to true */ add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');
If you’re not sure how to add this code, you can follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/.
After you add the code, please clear any cache on your site or server and check your XML sitemap again. If you’re still facing issues with the sitemap, please let us know – we are happy to investigate further.
Okay,
Your plugin has caused significant disruptions to my workflow and my clients’ sites. I’ve reported the technical issues in detail to WordPress as a developer, and they’ve acknowledged the concerns. After thorough testing, I’ve removed your plugin entirely. Google has confirmed that the sitemap errors originate from your product. The fact that there are multiple versions of your plugin, each with recurring problems, only compounds the issue.
This isn’t a support request — it’s a statement of fact. Fix your product.
James

No, I am done. Yes, many users have complained not only about your lack of support, but also on Facebook and other forums. We have been developing and writing code longer than you have existed. Supporting stupid comments, a waste of time with you.
