[metadata element=”date”] showing up in Meta description

I have noticed that most of my website’ (https://www.grg.consulting/) meta descriptions have this piece [metadata element=”date”] visible in Google search results. I observed that the [metadata element=”date”] code is coming from RankMath Tool for those pages which don’t have Meta Description. Please let me know how can it be fixed.

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I can check that there is an Article Schema in your page that is being added by some other plugin or your theme and that includes the metadata element="date" in it.

Please follow this guide to figure out which plugin or theme is causing the issue and remove the Schema from the content to fix the issue. https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to your update.
