    Hi Team,

We’ve noticed that the Meta Title and Description we set up in Rank Math aren’t showing up in Google search results. We’ve already followed the steps from this article, but the issue persists. Do you have any suggestions or workarounds for this? Appreciate your help!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you please share a page URL with us so that we can check this further for you?

However, as mentioned in the article, nowadays, Google does that very commonly. Even when everything is fine, Google may choose to display a different meta title and description for your search query result. Google may skip the custom metadata you have set and instead display something from the page’s content that better matches the search intent.

I have facing same issue. I recently edited the meta title and meta description for my website using the snippet editor in Rank Math, but the changes are not reflecting on the live site or in search engine results. I have cleared the cache and waited for some time, but the issue persists. Could you please help me understand why this is happening and how to resolve it?

Thanks for checking! Here is a sample page.

    Hello,

We checked the page you shared. The Title and Description you have set is shown on Google as you can see in the image below:

However, as we mentioned earlier, Google sometimes adjusts the title and description according to the search intent. Google may choose to display a different meta title for search query results.

    Thank you.

Thanks for confirming that. Just one last thing – could you let me know why the sep and site name are still missing from the title?

    Hello,

The sep and sitename is already added in the title meta tag.

Please note that Google uses a machine learning algorithm to generate the Sitename for your pages based on other information it has collected about your website and your industry.

Also, it is completely up to Google, and even if your site has followed all the guidelines, they can still decide to show a different or no site name. You should keep working on improving your site’s content quality and authority to increase the chances of your site name appearing in the SERPs.

Moreover, we would suggest to keep on mentioning the desired title on both the title of the page and the schema structure (which our plugin automatically adds after configuring the Local SEO settings in Rank Math > Titles & Meta).

    Looking forward to helping you.
