Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
This happens when you have selected your homepage displays a static page in the WordPress dashboard > Settings > Reading. To edit your homepage meta, you should head over to the page you have selected as the static page.
Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
Thanks Anas, but it seems strange, I don’t have anywhere to set the Meta in my homepage either. See attached https://ibb.co/6Pyh7hW
Is there no way to set this from Rankmath?
I also looked at this article where it is mentioned to use the ‘Search’ function, but again I cannot find where I can edit the meta data.
This was so much easier ton Yoast, why is it so technical in Rankmath to achieve the same result?

Hello,
Thank you for keeping in touch with us.
Make sure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math.
You can actually set your Meta settings in the Advanced tab as you can see in this video screencast:

The settings search field was moved a bit to the right corner. Refer to this screenshot:

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thanks Jeremy, I am trying to set the Meta description for that page but that is not in the advanced section, and using search does not help either..
Why can’t I see the ‘homepage’ meta section, this is hugely baffling to me!

Your colleague mentioned this, but why should that have a bearing on this tab??

Hello,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
