Meta Description Not Posting Dynamic Term Variables

    After a recent update, it seems like the meta description doesn’t output the %term% dynamic variable anymore. It does it correctly in the Title tag, and all the other dynamic variables work, except %term%

    In the Edit Post, it looks like it should be working. However, when I look at the source code of my post, it’s not correct.

    Is there a fix I can add to this or can you make an update to correct this issue?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The %term% variable should only be used on taxonomy pages. I have just test this on a category page and it works as expected.

    From your link, it looks like you are using this on a posts page in which case you should use the %category% variable.

    Can you add this to posts in an update? It works in a preview of the post and I feel like it’s worked before.
