  • Hello Amit,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Thank you for getting in touch with us.

The description is correctly set by rank math as you have already confirmed by checking the page source.

You can use this tool for the same as well: https://www.heymeta.com/

This means Rank math is adding the correct meta to your pages and the issue is not coming coming from Rank math.

Please check if Google has seen your meta changes already or not. For that, please check when the Google cache was updated for that page:
    a.

    b.

If the cache date is from before adding the new meta description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with the new info. If the date is after you made the changes,

Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

The best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

You can read more about it here

    https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35624?hl=en

This section sheds light on that:

Why the search result title might differ from the page's <title> tag

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know.

Nope Earlier When I Was Using Yoast SEO It Was Fine After Rank Math Installation It Is Happening Its Mistake Of Plugin

I Can Challenge You if I Install the Yoast SEO and If I Keep Using It For 15 to 30 days It Will Fix This Issue the Same thing Happened With My [B] Site then I reverted Back On Yoast and it fixed that issue within 10 to 16 days Now Don’t Say It Depend Google Already Compared Again Rank Math Again It Creates Meta Description Issues Then Again Reverted Yoast & Reducing Plugin Size to 8.5 Mb Doesn’t Mean The Plugin Will Work Great

    Hello,

We understand if you believe this issue is due to Rank Math but if you search Google, you will see people have this issue with Yoast as well:

In fact, Google rewrites meta description 70% of the times on ALL websites, regardless of how they are built:
    https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-rewrites-meta-descriptions-over-70-of-the-time/382140/

If you wish to switch back to Yoast, we will totally understand but know that Rank Math has nothing to do with it as you can tell from the above links.

ok So After Few Days of Analysis I am Here With Some Proof That the Issue Is Not Causing By Google But Its an Mistake of Rank Math I a Attaching Two Screenshots In One I Have recently installed the yoast seo and published one post and then i waited for few mins to Google crawl it and Checked It was showing Correct Meta You Can also Confirm Via Screenshot and Today In Afternoon I have installed the Rank Math & Published a Post then it again it showed me wrong meta why issue is only with Rank Math and also If Google is rewriting the meta description then why its showing write meta with Yoast Don’t Just Reduce the Code Compare to Other Plugins

Attached the Screenshots are Available In Sensitive Data

    Hello,

    1. First of all, I am assuming that you have already changed the SEO Meta Title and Meta Description with the help of Rank Math:
Add a Meta Description in Classic Editor:

Add title and description in Gutenberg:

    2. Then, ensure that this is the setting in the Schema tab if Rich Snippets are enabled on your website:

To reiterate, the Schema title must show %seo_title% and the description should show %seo_description% – this will ensure your SEO title and SEO Description that you set up via Rank Math can also be used for your schema details:

    3. The next step is to check if your title/description is properly set up in the page source:

You can use this tool for the same as well: https://www.heymeta.com/

    4. If it matches your settings, then you must check if Google has seen the changes already or not.

For that, please check when the Google cache was updated for that page:
    a.

    b.
