  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The screenshot you shared was not clear, is this issue happening on Google? Could you share some of the affected URL(s) so we can test from our end.

    Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    1. First of all, I am assuming that you have already changed the SEO Meta Title and Meta Description with the help of Rank Math:
    Add a Meta Description in Classic Editor:

    Add title and description in Gutenberg:

    2. Then, ensure that this is the setting in the Schema tab if Rich Snippets are enabled on your website:

    To reiterate, the Schema title must show %seo_title% and the description should show %seo_description% – this will ensure your SEO title and SEO Description that you set up via Rank Math can also be used for your schema details:

    3. The next step is to check if your title/description is properly set up in the page source:
    https://i.rankmath.com/HwXR1o

    You can use this tool for the same as well: https://www.heymeta.com/

    4. If it matches your settings, then you must check if Google has seen the changes already or not.

    For that, please check when the Google cache was updated for that page:
    a.

    b.

    If the cache date is from before adding the new meta description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with the new info. If the date is after you made the changes,

    Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

    The best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

    You can read more about it here

    https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35624?hl=en

    This section sheds light on that:

    Why the search result title might differ from the page's <title> tag

    Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know.

    thanks, can you tell me why I am disabled date from meta description and i find it in some of my posts

    Hello,

    Usually, Google gets your posts’ date using the date your theme adds in the post template, you should check if your theme has an option to disable it.

    Looking forward to help you.

    thanks can you tell me why my products star reviews didn’t appear on Google?

    Hello,

    Please test the page on Google’s Structured data testing tool: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/ and confirm there are no errors.

    If that is the case, there is nothing to worry about and it is just a waiting game until Google decides to include Schema for your website. Please note that although Rank Math adds proper schema to your website, it is ultimately Google’s decision if they want to include them with your website or not. It depends on a lot of factors, authority and backlinks being just the 2 of them.

    Here’s what Google says:

    “Google does not guarantee that your structured data will show up in search results, even if your page is marked up correctly according to the Structured Data Testing Tool.”

    You can read more about the guidelines on this page:
    https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/sd-policies

    Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    thanks, when I tested my products pages on the structured data tool it shows me that I miss the review field but I have reviews on my products.

    Hello,

    Could you please share some of the affected URLs in the sensitive section so we can test from our end?

    We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

    We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Rank Math takes the Schema data from your product pages automatically and turns it into Schema-ready content. Likewise, the aggregateRating and review fields are taken from your actual product reviews that your buyers/customers leave on your products.

    If you don’t have any reviews yet, that is going to show up as a warning in the schema testing tool. That’s because Google will actually look for those fields.

    Please acquire some reviews and ratings to get rid of the aggregateRating and review warnings.

    You can fix the SKU and availability issue easily as well:

    To fix the brand warning, head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > WooCommerce and choose from any of the available fields to use as your product’s brands.

    Brand Value

    If you want to use a custom value for your Brands, you can do that by using the following code in your theme’s functions.php file:

    // Add Brand for Products.
    add_filter( 'rank_math/snippet/rich_snippet_product_entity', function( $entity ) {
    $entity['brand'] = 'Rank Math;
    return $entity;
    });

    Replace the “Rank Math” text with your actual brand name then run your website through the Structured Data Testing tool once again.

    Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    I have reviews on my products but when I test it in the structured data testing tool it shows that I miss the review field (not aggregateRating) just the review field.

    Hello,

    1. We are offering you solutions.

    2. It might be possible. You should only use Schema from either Rank Math or from your theme.
