  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with losing rank on several keywords. This can be concerning, and there are a few factors to consider that might help you understand the situation better:

    1. SEO Plugin Configuration: Ensure that your SEO plugin is set up correctly. Incorrect meta tags can negatively impact your rankings. You can refer to our detailed setup guide here.

    2. Algorithm Updates: Google frequently updates its algorithms, which can affect your rankings. It’s possible that your site was impacted by a recent update. You can check if your traffic drop correlates with an algorithm update using our guide here.

    3. Keyword Tracking: Utilize the Keyword Positions report in Rank Math to monitor your keyword performance. This report provides insights into which keywords are losing positions and can help you identify trends over time.

    Hello,

Thank you so much for getting in touch.

Rank Math itself does not cause ranking drops, but incorrect setup or external factors (like Google algorithm updates) can have a significant impact. Since you’ve already followed our setup guide, the next step is to perform a full SEO audit and check for any technical or content-related issues that could be affecting your visibility. Here’s our audit guide: https://rankmath.com/blog/seo-audit/

Also, in Rank Math PRO, you can check if the ranking drop aligns with a Google update: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-algorithm-updates/

    Looking forward to helping you.

I continue to receive the same responses, i was asking some helpnto figure out why i have lost rankings from 1s page at the top to like 9 page and also many of my images have disappeared from search, i have waited several months and it has only been worst, this was the worst decision i ever made to switch from yost to rank math…

    Hello,

We are sorry to hear about the drop. To troubleshoot:

    – Check Google Search Console for indexing errors or penalties.

    – Verify your canonical tags, sitemap, and robots.txt are correct in Rank Math.

    – Ensure your images are included in the image sitemap.

    – Compare any traffic drops to known Google algorithm updates.

    – Run our full SEO audit guide for technical/content issues.

We’ll dig deeper if you can share a couple of affected URLs and dates.

We look forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Thank you for the answer
