I am looking to transfer existing redirects data onto csv provided I buy the pro subscription?
Would that be possible?
Also if I manage redirects there on the csv instead of within the plugin manually, will that also be effective in the long run that benefits response usage with my hosting provider?

Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing. Yes, if you purchase the Rank Math PRO subscription, you will be able to transfer your existing redirects to a CSV file. This feature allows you to export your current redirects, edit them in a spreadsheet, and then import them back into Rank Math.
To export your existing redirects to a CSV file, you can follow these steps:
- Navigate to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Redirections → Import & Export.
- Click on the Export tab and select the Export CSV option.
Once you have edited the CSV file, you can import it back into Rank Math using the Import tab in the same section.
Regarding your second question, managing redirects through a CSV file can be effective in the long run. It allows for bulk editing and easier collaboration if you’re working with a team. However, it’s essential to ensure that the redirects are correctly set up in the CSV to avoid any issues with your site’s performance or SEO. Properly managed redirects can indeed benefit your site’s response usage with your hosting provider by reducing server load and improving user experience.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Rank Math’s automatic redirect feature applies only to slug changes for posts, pages, and custom post types.
Please refer to this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-redirect-posts-after-changing-urls/#auto-post-redirect
Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hi there,
I recently saw a number of 404 error links from my end after I changed theme but I realised I set limit up to 100 and then I couldn’t find it.
Is there any way I could start again? So I can have a look at all 404 error links, This time unlimited.
Hello,
Please note that any of the 404s that are logged after the limit (100) are automatically cleared/deleted.
So, if you set the limit on General Settings, those that were logged before will not show up anymore
Looking forward to helping you.
So best I uninstall and reinstall plugin or find broken link checker elsewhere for me to find every single 404 links all over again?
Hello,
Those old 404 links will have to be hit again for Rank Math to enter them in the log. No tool will be able to retrieve them if those URLs returning a 404 status are not visited again.
You have nothing to worry about, since you have lifted the limit, as long as those URLs are visited often to warrant a redirect, you won’t have to wait long for them to be logged.
We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
I’ve put in 1-2 410 url redirect links, although mine is just a draft at this stage.
Also even if the URL images and tags I don’t want or deleted are set to noindex, will it still be a safe idea to transfer over to csv spreadsheet (in separate spreadsheets though to the one I’m working on URL posts).
Thank you.
In addition, if I get the pro subscription, will I also be able to save all the 404 links I’ve got through csv spreadsheet? Especially with attachments and tags.
Hello,
Yes, with Rank Math PRO, you can export the 404 log.
This makes the process of creating and importing redirects using a CSV file seamless.
We hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thanks, could you also check the image URLs I’ve posted on the sensitive data whether if I put the 410 entires right on the spreadsheet I’m currently doing?
Just wanted to make sure that’s all.
Hello,
The ID column should match the ones in your redirects. If it’s a new entry, then the ID should be blank
Also, there’s no destination value for 410 redirects.
Looking forward to helping you.
With ID, what I did when I put “X category name” on column was wrong?
If so will I have to create new number or make new redirect on plugin if that how it works?
Again mine is on early draft stage.
Hello,
The ID is automatically generated by WordPress for each of the redirects.
When you import a CSV, the blank/empty values under the ID column mean it is a new redirect/entry.
If you’re editing an existing redirect, then you will need to match the value under the id as we explained here:
https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-manage-redirects-via-csv/#editing-existing-redirectsLooking forward to helping you.
So every time I make new redirects for me IDs should stay blank since me creating one are all brand new & redirecting them in bulk?
Also I found a few past URLs that belongs to RSS feeds but currently don’t have one, do I still redirect them or just leave it?
