when i enable llms.txt on WPEngine i get a 404 even after clearing the cache. is this a known issue?

Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with the
llms.txt
file returning a 404 error on WPEngine. This could be related to how the server is configured or possibly due to caching issues that might not have been fully cleared. To troubleshoot this issue, please ensure that:
- The
llms.txt
file is correctly placed in the root directory of your WordPress installation. - There are no conflicting rules in your
.htaccess
file that might be causing the 404 error. - You have cleared both your website cache and any server-level cache that WPEngine may be using.
If the problem persists, we recommend replying to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!
This is an automated reply from Rank Math Support Bot. Your ticket has been assigned to a human agent and we will get back to you shortly.
The bot missed the point. it should be autocreated and it does not seem like it is.

i did not give my credentials as i dont feel comfortable with the format. hoping they will see it and fix it since it seems to be a real issue
Hello,
In this case, please share your site URL so we can check further.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
We’ve checked your /llms.txt, and it is showing a 404 Nginx not found error.
In this case, please check your Nginx config file and ensure there are no directives blocking the llms.txt or serving .txt files if they are missing on your site, since the llms.txt we generate is dynamic.
If you need assistance, you can get in touch with your web host to check these for you.
Looking forward to helping you.
So it sounds like this does not work on WP Engine without some modifications. Can you guys test it on WP engine?
Hello,
We apologise for the delay in response.
We have identified an issue with the llms.txt URL. At the moment, you may access the llms.txt URL only with a trailing slash: https://corewebdig.com/llms.txt/.
Our developers are already aware of this, and a fix will be included in an upcoming release. We will notify you, or you may refer to our changelog page to know when this has been fixed: https://rankmath.com/changelog/
For now, please use the trailing slash version to visit or submit your site’s llms.txt file.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thank you
Thanks for looking deeper into this.
