hello,
I was wondering if RankMath will have the capabilities to implement LLm.txt files for WP sites?
Thanks

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Rank Math doesn’t currently include any built-in SEO settings or modules for the emerging llms.txt standard, as this is still a community proposal rather than a broadly adopted search-engine feature.
If you’d like to experiment with llms.txt, you can manually create a plain-text
llms.txt
file in your site’s root—just as you would withrobots.txt
, and use the CPanel File Editor or FTP to manage it.Note that Google’s own John Mueller has compared llms.txt to the old keywords meta tag, suggesting it may not yet carry much weight in SERPs. We’ll keep an eye on how this evolves and update our roadmap if wider search-engine support emerges.
Don’t hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
When will you have this feature? Yoast seems to have it already…..go, go, go;)))
This would be a great feature to incorporate
For those that want to implement their llm.txt manually first, here is a example how the file looks:
# Title > Optional description goes here Optional details go here ## Section name - [Link title](https://link_url): Optional link details ## Optional - [Link title](https://link_url)
Or go to: https://github.com/AnswerDotAI/llms-txt
Please add the core of the plugin and make it flexible with filters and hooks as well. Looking forward to the implementation.
Hello,

Looking forward to helping you.
The LLM.txt file is a must-have for a good plugin like RankMath.
The other “SEO” plugin just added that feature last week,
I hope you guys see the value and importance of that feature and add it to RankMath. It’s better to have this feature sooner than later. Others are implementing this.
The LLM.txt feature is already blowing up on tons of SEO channels and plugins and you guys are late to the party. Please consider this urgent!
Agree Audrey and David.
Most of my websites have an llm.txt
Index on Google AI snippet.Definitely a must have!
Hello,
Thanks so much for your continued feedback and enthusiasm regarding the llm.txt feature.
We’re closely monitoring its adoption across the SEO and AI landscape, and our development team is already evaluating how best to implement it in Rank Math with the flexibility our users expect (including filters and hooks).
While we can’t commit to a release date just yet, please rest assured it’s on our radar. You can stay updated via our changelog.
Appreciate your patience and input; it really helps shape our roadmap.
Thank you.
Looks like it might be time to switch back to Yoast since they aren’t ‘waiting around’ for the future.
And, it’s included in their free plan.Hi Ike,
The landscape is very clear on this. Everyone is making the move. Its time to implement this. Its a pain to do it manually where it can be streamlined. When can this be implemented? Its not a observation thing anymore. You will lose tons of users if not implemented quickly.
And not a additional paid for extra please 🙈
