  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the permalink and breadcrumbs not displaying the last category. In Rank Math, the permalink structure can be influenced by the settings you have configured for your categories and product pages.

To ensure that the last category appears in your permalinks, you may want to check the following:

    1. Remove Parent Slugs Option: If this option is enabled, it will remove parent category slugs from your product page permalinks. You can find this setting in the Rank Math settings under General Settings > Permalinks.
      Remove parent slugs option

    2. Category Base Settings: Ensure that the category base is set correctly. If you want to include specific categories in your permalink, you might need to adjust these settings as well.
      Remove Category Base Option

    3. Breadcrumb Settings: For breadcrumbs, make sure that the Show Category(s) option is enabled in the Rank Math settings. This will allow the categories to be displayed in the breadcrumb trail.

If you’ve checked these settings and the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!
