LinkedIn Social Media tags do not work

    LinkedIn uses the image from your og:image property but seems like the issue is occurring because you’re using the image in webP format. Please note that LinkedIn still does some issues with the webP image format whereas other platforms like Facebook, Whatsapp, and Twitter now support webP image format. For reference, you can check the following quick comparison table of which image file formats are supported by different OGP-consuming platforms and apps.

    In order to resolve the issue, you can use the image file format for your Open Graph image between jpeg, gif, or png.

    Hi,

    It is working!

    I was using the WordPress optimizer which converts all jpeg to webp on upload.
    Turn it of temporarily, uploaded the jpegs, replaced the social image and it worked 🙂
